There's this one redhead, who's walking around the village as if he was looking for someone. He doesn't really seem lost, but judging from clothes he's wearing, he's obviously new here.

After a moment of searching though, he scratches the back of his head and makes a thoughtful look. It seems he won't find his friends here. But they're okay for sure, so there's nothing to worry.

And so, instead, Mao turns around and walks up to the first person he sees.]</sub>

Was that it? I'm sure you can do better than that!

_{[Mao hesitates a little, but hits again. And this time the hit is better, but probably still far from being anything really impressive. Mao relies on spells most of the time, so he isn't exactly strong physically.]}

[Taking the hit with his arm guard, though Caius takes a step back after this second attempt.]

That's better, you should try and land all of your attacks like that.

[The possibility of Mao being more proficient in spells hasn't even crossed his mind.]

I usually focus on casting spells during battles, so I don't really get to use my weapons often, you know.

Sure I do, if you can't even land a proper strike that is-- [Oh wait, spells.] You cast spells? With tonfas?

...How does that work? Don't you need a staff for that? Though I suppose two sticks are kind of like small staves.

No, I don't need that. Why would I need any kind of weapon to cast a spell anyway?

Well that's... True, actually. Guess you don't need a weapon to use spells. It just seems most people that use spells who I know all use staves.

[Except for the Pope, but he was all sort of evil and stuff and totally an exception.]

I know only one person who uses those.

_{[He nods more to himself than anything else.]}

The weapon doesn't matter at all when it comes to casting spells.

If that's the case does that mean I could start casting spells whilst using a sword? Not that I'd want to, but if I did then I could, right?

If you knew how to use magic, then yeah.

Can't be that hard to learn a basic spell or something like that, right? Then I could learn to cast a spell and attack with my sword at the same time.

I don't know if it's that easy in your world, but in mine you have to be a Force User to learn any kind of magic.

Some magic in my world needs you to learn priseputh incantations to use the magic in the air... And that's all I know about using spells on my world. [But like hell can he be bothered to remember any incantations. There's also Life Magic but that's way too different for this conversation.] Never heard of Force Users before, so I doubt myself or anyone else from Areulla is one.

Priseputh! Like I said, it's just some words you say to harness magic which can be used for lots of different things. I've never bothered learning any of it myself.

Huh? Is that all? You just learn some words and you can cast magic just like that?

Yeah, that's all. [...] I think. There might be more to it than learning words and studying priseputh, but if there is Rubia or Arria never told me.

Well, in my world if you aren't a Force User you can't use magic. Though, only Gajuma could originally use Force, but since that one incident Force awakened in a lot of people.

Gajuma? What incident? Didn't know incidents could allow people to suddenly be able to use magic.

Gajuma is one of the two races that live in my world. See, people who look like me are called "Huma" and people who have tails, fur or feathers are called "Gajuma".

Only Gajuma could use Force, but... The king of Karegia, released his own Force before he died. At that time Force awakened in a lot of people.

Most of them were unable to control it though and so a lot of terrible things happened...

Oh, I see, sounds pretty bad. [To put it lightly.] But your humans were called Huma ad your Leymon were called Gajuma? Huh. Wait, I've never seen a Leymon with feathers before so they must be different things. Leymon have fur though!

Sorry about all the terrible stuff that happened, were you okay?

Leymon, huh? I wonder if they are like Gajuma...

Oh, I... I lost my memory back then. _{[he looks a little sheepish.]} But no need to worry. I kinda got it back now.

_{[kinda, because he never had any memories in the first place.]}

Sounds like they might be related, maybe. Do Gajuma look like Huma only with fur, or do they look more like animals?

That's good to hear, maybe you'll get more of your memory back whilst you're here! or make new memories, whatever comes first.

They look more... like animals, I guess.

...I don't think I get any more of my memory back, but I sure will make a lot of new memories here~!

What makes you say that? Maybe you'll bump your head and remember more, to add to your new memories.
